“It was an experience especially the railway market. Just a little bit disappointment at the amphawa floating market as there was no boat vendors at all. The tour itself was good. Our tour guide Cherry was very helpful and looked after us, she’s very funny😁”

Join an English-speaking guide from Bangkok for an eight-hour trip to Maeklong Railway Market, Wat Bang Kung, and Amphawa. Expect canal-side food stalls rather than a fully boat-based market, plus an evening boat ride for sunset and fireflies. Guides may include Siri, Piye, Nok, or Kitty.

“4 stars because, This is not a real floating market. It is physical ground based market with canals for show. Unfortunately our guide did not know good English. You only go to the boat for the evening firefly visit, which is amazing. If you want to go the real floating market explore, other tour options. Communication from the tour company was very prompt.”

“The guide and driver were great! The railroad was amazing! We decided we wanted to change a few things along the way, and our guide transitioned smoothly! We tried a local desert, did a little shopping, fed some horses, and even received lovely gifts from our guide, Gewn. Our driver, Mr. Wichien, was really solicitous and attentive.”

Spend about 8.5 hours visiting Maeklong Railway Market, Wat Bang Kung, and Amphawa Floating Market in a group of no more than nine. Expect an English-speaking guide, air-conditioned transport, hotel pickup if selected, local food, and an optional THB 150 boat ride.

“So my review is really about the tour itself and the execution. I would rate them 5 stars, efficient and our tour leader Oum was lovely, obviously has a passion for what he does. What can be improved is post booking communication, being left without a word till 8pm the night before is not really very helpful. We tried every contact available email, phone, etc in vain (the phone number is some Hong Kong disconnected line) it’s the online chat team that told us to wait till 8pm the night before the tour. If this is the system then maybe inform your guests that they will receive instructions then. Now…”
